OpenDocument links are useful if you want to send someone a direct link, or if you want that person to avoid the inconvenience of navigating through folders or categories.

Generate an OpenDocument link for a document.

2. Click 2010 Net Sales by Product Line.
Start by selecting the document 2010 Net Sales by Product Line.

3. Click the More Actions list.
Start by selecting the More Actions option to create the OpenDocument link to the document 2010 Net Sales by Product Line.

4. Click Document Link.

5. Right-click the Link: field.

The Document Link dialog box appears with an OpenDocument link in the Link field.

Copy and paste the the link to a Word document.

6. Click Copy.

7. Click OK.

8. Right-click the Address text field.
You can send this link via email as well.
Now, paste the link to open the report.

9. Click Paste.

10. Click Go to.

The BI launch pad logon page open in a web browser. After entering the valid logon credentials, the document opens.

12. As required, complete/review the following fields:
